Colleen Banks joined Wealth Development Strategies, LLC after getting her start serving the financial service needs of the Lutheran community through Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. As a financial associate with Wealth Development Strategies, LLC, Ms. Banks helps clients achieve independence that incorporates cash management, risk management, college funding*, retirement strategies, mutual funds* and estate preservation. Ms. Banks focuses on helping professionals, entrepreneurs and families identify their financial goals and objectives and then implement strategies to maximize their financial potential.
Ms. Banks has a Bachelor of Science degree in General Business from the University of Houston and holds FINRA Series 6 and 63 securities licenses and the Group 1 Life and Health and Variable insurance license in TX, AL, AZ, GA, LA, MI, NM, NY, PA, TN.
Ms. Banks has served the community by volunteering with various organizations such as: Women's Resource Center as an instructor in the “Money Matters” workshop, Optimum Lifestyle and Extreme Green Youth Works promoting “Green Gardening” in the community, Houston Area Urban League Young Professionals educating on the importance of finances and an active volunteer for CSTEM – “Everyone is an Artist and an Engineer”. Ms. Banks has participated on panels with various organizations and church's to educate the community on why personal finances is necessary as business owners and families prioritize their finance
Ms. Banks is a loyal volunteer with the girl's group at her church which combines fun in a Christian environment where the girls can discuss issues that relate to them and take on projects that help the community. Ms. Banks is also an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
