Stuart A. Jacobson is a Senior Vice President with Wealth Development Strategies LLC. Mr. Jacobson has been in the financial services industry in excess of forty years and has been with the company (whose associates were formerly part of the AFP Group) since 1988. Mr. Jacobson’s career began in banking, where he was president and C.E.O. of Allied Mercantile Bank (now Wells Fargo Bank) and Security Bank of Texas, NA (now BBVA Compass Bank). He is a graduate of the University of Houston, with a bachelor’s degree in finance and holds the FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 Securities Registrations and the Group 1 Life and Health and Variable insurance licenses. Stuart is a Registered Representative of Hornor, Townsend, and Kent, LLC. (HTK), and is life and health licensed in California, Colorado, Kansas, Arizona and Texas. Mr. Jacobson has been very active in the Houston community, serving as an instructor for The American Institute of Banking and The Life Underwriting Training Council of Texas, as well as a volunteer in Houston public schools. From 1995-1997, he co-hosted a financial radio program on KPRC 950 AM every Sunday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. The show was entitled "Organizing Your Life".
He has served as president of Congregation Beth Yeshurun, one of the largest conservative synagogues in the southwest United States. He also served on the Board of Trustees for The Anti-Defamation League.
Mr. Jacobson has been very active in raising funds for numerous charitable organizations, both locally and nationally, including public television. His professional and volunteer positions encompass strong leadership, management and organizational skills.
